1. Q: What is SuperChinese?

A : Super Chinese combines many years of Chinese teaching experience with Artificial Intelligence to begin a new generation of Chinese language learning. Super Chinese has developed content based on important real-life situations while staying close to the knowledge required for HSK. Gamification of the app, as well as interesting and fun dialogue videos, flashcards, and pictures, will help you study faster and remember what you've learned more accurately. Super Chinese lets you record and check your pronunciation to make learning even more interactive.

2. Q: Is SuperChinese free? How much does SuperChinese Plus cost?

A : SuperChinese app offers both free and paid features. You can download and use the app for free, and access basic features such as pinyin course, L1 and L2 vocabulary, some grammar parts. However, for access to more advanced features such as video lessons, small quizzes, and personalized learning plans, you will need to purchase a subscription. Currently we have PLUS 1 month, PLUS 12 month and Lifetime PLUS. The price of the subscription varies depending on the length of the subscription and any current promotions or discounts. You can check the most up-to-date pricing information and offers on the PLUS purchase page in the iOS/Android app or on our website (https://www.superchinese.com/superchinese.html). Offers for different regions and platforms may vary.

3. Q: What level will I be at after I finish the course?

A : SuperChinese currently has 7 levels. Our Chinese language course is designed to take you from a beginner level (HSK1) to an intermediate level (HSK5) of Chinese proficiency. However, the exact level you will achieve upon completion of the course will depend on a variety of factors such as your dedication, time spent practicing, and prior knowledge of the language. Our course is structured to provide you with a solid foundation in the Chinese language, and you will learn essential skills such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. By the end of the course, you will be able to engage in basic conversations and read and write simple sentences in Chinese.

4. Q: What’s included in premium membership?

A : With our premium membership, you'll have access to all of our course materials, including video lessons, interactive exercises, and small quizzes. You'll also have the ability to track your progress, customize your learning plan, and receive personalized feedback from our AI experts.

5. Q: Can I use SuperChinese on multiple devices / on my computer?

A : You can use the app on multiple devices and on your computer. As long as you log in with the same account, your progress and membership will be synced across all devices. You can download the app on both iOS and Android devices, and access the web version on your computer. But please note that you can log in to your account on multiple devices, but cannot use an account on multiple devices at the same time.

6. Q: Where should I begin? Finding your way around SuperChinese

A : To begin using our app, we suggest that you start with the "Introduction" section, which will guide you through the app's features and interface. After that, you can go to the first lesson of Level 1 to start your learning journey. The courses are organized from easy to difficulty level, so we recommend starting with the beginner level if you're new to the language. You can also use the Chinese level test function to start directly from the level that suits you.

7. Q: Can I learn offline?

A : Yes, you can learn offline with our app. We have a feature that allows you to download lessons and study materials so you can access them without an internet connection. Please open the SuperChinese app -> tap "Me" -> tap the "Setting" button at the top right hand corner -> "Offline download".

8. Q: How do I pay?

A : We offer various payment options depending on your location. In general, you can make a payment through the App Store or Google Play store with a credit card, debit card, or through PayPal. Please note that some payment options may not be available in certain regions.

9. Q: Can I use WeChat Pay/Alipay or PayPal to pay for the premium?

A : Yes, we support pay with Alipay/WeChat Pay and PayPal. Please tap here to go to the purchase page (https://www.superchinese.com/superchinese.html).

10. Q: How do I cancel my PLUS subscription?

A : Note: Uninstalling the app will not cancel your subscription. To cancel subscriptions, please follow these steps: iOS users: 1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. 2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in with your Apple ID. 3. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap the subscription that you want to cancel. Android users: 1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store. 2. Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account. 3. Tap “Menu" then Subscriptions. 4. Select the subscription you want to cancel. 5. Tap Cancel subscription. 6. Follow the instructions.

11. Q: Can I change my subscription plan?

A : Certainly! You can change your subscription plan at any time. To do so, please log in to your account on our app and navigate to the PLUS purchage page. From there, you should see an option to change your subscription plan. If you have any trouble doing so, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team and we'll be happy to assist you further.

12. Q: Does my subscription automatically renew?

A : If you've purchased a monthly or annual subscription, it will renew automatically unless you cancel it before the billing date.

13. Q: I'm inquiring about a group discount for my company/class/organization.

A : Please contact us at [email protected] and tell us more about your request. We'll reply as soon as we can.

14. Q: I have already purchased but can't access membership.

A : Don't worry, please ensure that you are logged into your SuperChinese account and that your subscription is active. If you are still experiencing issues, please try logging out and back into your account, or refreshing the app. If you still couldn't manage to access membership after trying the method above, please send the receipt from Apple/Google/WeChat/PayPal to us directly at [email protected]. We'll be happy to investigate and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

15. Q: What happens if I cancel my subscription?

A : When you cancel a subscription you'll still be able to use your subscription for the time you've already paid. For example, if you buy a one-year subscription on January 1 for $70 and decide to cancel your subscription on July 1: You still have access to the subscription until December 31.

16. Q: How can I reset my progress?

A : Currently Super Chinese does not have the reset study data function. You can learn the lessons all over again without deleting the study data.

17. Q: How can I delete my account?

A : To delete your account: 1. Open the app then tap "Me" 2. Tap "Settings" (at the top right hand corner) 3. Tap "Account" 4. Tap "Delete account" 5. Follow the instructions in the app to delete your account. Please note that account deletions are permanent and cannot be reversed. When an account is deleted, all your study data are deleted.

18. Q: How can I change in-app language?

A : SuperChinese currently supports 15 in-app languages, and we will work hard to support more languages and regions! To change language preferences: 1. Open the app then tap "Me" 2. Tap "Settings" (at the top right hand corner) 3. Tap "Language". 4. Select your preferred language from the list.

19. Q: How to manage the study reminders?

A : On the mobile app, you can manage the study reminders by clicking ME -> My SuperChinese Target, then following the steps here to manage the reminders. You can update settings by your preferred time, whether you’d like reminders to study in the morning, afternoon, or evening!

20. Q: Where do I enter the invitation code in SuperChinese?

A : To enter the invitation code: 1. Open SuperChinese app 2. Tap your avatar 3. In the "Inviter" section, enter the invitation code that you have received.

21. Q: The audio/image is missing or wrong.

A : We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. If the audio/image in the app can't load, please try to change to another internet network, or you also can try to clear the cache in the app to see if it works. To clear the cache: 1. Open the app then tap "Me" 2. Tap "Settings" (at the top right hand corner) 3. Clear cache. After clearing the cache, please enter the lesson again, thank you!
